Is Gist a consultancy or advisory service?
No. Gist is a self-serve software subscription. It generates explainer outlines, visuals and short reels as a communication aid. It is not a licensed IT, management, legal, financial or medical advisory service, and it does not take on projects or one-to-one consulting.
Can I trust the facts it generates?
Treat every output as a draft. Gist structures and phrases your idea clearly, but generated explanations, facts and figures can be wrong or out of date. You are responsible for verifying anything before you share it, especially in professional or decision-making settings.
How does billing work?
Gist is a pure monthly or yearly subscription in USD through Stripe. There are no credits, no top-ups and no stored balance. Monthly quotas do not roll over. You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the current period.
Who owns what I make?
You keep ownership of the ideas, notes and files you put in, and you may use generated results commercially. You are responsible for making sure your final content does not infringe third-party copyright or trademarks. See the Content License for the full terms.
Do you train models on my inputs?
No. Gist does not use your inputs or generated results to train models. Inputs and outputs are processed to run the service and cached for up to 30 days, then cleared. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
